29900 Righteous Felon Craft Beef Jerky
To make the world's best jerky, you gotta use the world's best ingredients. Since the beginning of time, Black Angus has been the undisputed flavor champion of the beef realm. So when we set out to make the world's best beef jerky - we partnered with Roseda Black Angus Farm - the Mid-Atlantic's premier Black Angus producer, who just so happens to be conveniently located right in our back yard.
While our meat-curing contemporaries are importing beef from far off lands and producing in far off factories - we're proud to say that our entire supply chain - farms, production facility, and distribution center - are all located within a 50 mile radius of their epicenter. Not only is it good for the environment and local economy, but it allows us to knock the socks off people's tongues with freshly made product day in and day out.
Jerky is often referred to as the Swiss-Army-Knife of the snack spectrum because of it’s healthy, high protein, ultra-portable, and delicious attributes. This versatility makes Righteous Felon the perfect snack for whatever your next adventure may be: a trek on the trails, a cruise in the car, a delicacy at your desk, or even a long, adventurous expedition from the couch to the fridge for another cold one.
The Righteous Felon original recipe. The classic hickory flavor that started it all: This O.G. classic hit the streets in '96 and the jerky game ain't been the same ever since...
The world's first and only truffle infused beef jerky. This jerky is made by adding real black truffles, sourced from Italy, into our O.G. Hickory marinade. The resulting delicacy is a smoky, savory, sweet "UMAMI BOMB" with just the right dose of truffle to set your flavor gearshift into overdrive. He was a Truffle-O Soldja, Dreadlock Rasta!
The righteous Beer Infused Gastronomy project - a collaboration with Victory Brewing Company - one of the country's premier craft breweries.
This Imperial Jerky balances the rich sweetness of Victory Wort* with the dark, espresso-like roasted notes in their Storm King Imperial Stout for a sweet and savory beef jerky that finishes with a burst of black pepper.
*Wort is a naturally sweet and non-alcoholic liquid that combines the finest malted barley with local Brandywine water. It is harvested fresh from Victory’s brew kettle before the hops and yeast are added, providing the familiar and deeply satisfying flavors reminiscent of our brews, without the buzz.
A red bandana on a Black Lab's neck. An ole beat up Martin getting passed around a campfire. Bruce Springsteen blaring over a Jukebox in a run down dive bar on the corner of Matlack and Neilds. A deranged madman flying a kite in the middle of a lightning storm. A couple'a crazy forefathers, thinking they could defeat the reigning superpower of Mother Earth. There's only a few things in this world more American than the aforementioned. Among those chosen few, is an elixir unique to America itself: Bourbon. The only form of whiskey that mandates production in one of these fifty United States of America, in fresh, first-timer oak barrels.
Bourbon Franklin takes Righteous Felon's original recipe and piledrives it with a 4th-of-July's worth of Bourbon, a pinch of vanilla bean, and a whisper of cinnamon that'll whisk you right back to the street you grew up on. Bourbon Franklin is an homage to the ingenuity of America itself, it's signature spirit, and the great men (and women) who created it and continue to reinforce and redefine it's founding values: Family. Friends. Flavor. Freedom. And the pursuit of (your tongue's) happiness.
Ahh, Maryland, our amphibious neighbors to the south. We've been sourcing Righteous Felon's all-natural, pasture-raised Black Angus beef from our partner Roseda Farm, based in northern Maryland, since making our first batch of beef jerky back in 2012.
In the ensuing years, we've learned that Maryland does another thing very well aside from just crab cakes and football: Dousing everything in site with a heavy dose of a piquant spice blend seasoning synonymous with the Chesapeake region, known as Old Bay - which our legal team tells us can never be mentioned again on our site and will henceforth be known as Chesapeake Crab Spice. While Chesapeake Crab Spice isn't widely known to the rest of the country, this stuff is basically canon in Maryland and the rest of the Mid-Atlantic states. And for good reason - it's freaking delicious.
The addition of Maryland Monroe to the Righteous Felon lineup is our homage to the great Old Line State, whose green pastures and temperate climate have given RF a steady supply of our secret ingredient for all these years: high quality Black Angus beef.
O's, Stroh's, Natty Bohs... and now the best cure for jerky woes.
Our sweet and spicy jerky collaboration with Baby Blues BBQ of University City, Philadelphia. This mild jerky is starts off as O.G. Hickory before being lambasted with Baby Blues signature house sauce, Sweet Kick BBQ Sauce. When the initial sweetness subdues, a subtle but delicious heat finishes off this flavor rollercoaster.
100% pure jerky from the personal stash of Colombia's most notorious felon himself. After Escobar's death in 1993, large reserves of the potent product were confiscated from the kingpin's Medellin compound by a Colombian Narcotics Task Force, evidence that would destroy the Medellin Cartel once and for all. However systemic corruption within the task force caused the reserves to fall into the wrong hands. Now, nearly 20 years later, that illicit hickory flavor cut with a dose of all-natural Habanero seasoning has a chance to fall into the right hands: your hands. A spicy delicacy for those righteous souls who can take the heat…
A righteous collaboration jerky with Voodoo Chile Hot Sauces straight outa Leesburg, VA. This jerky features the worlds hottest pepper, the Carolina Reaper. Carolina Reaper clocks in at ~2 Million Scoville Units, roughly 6X as spicy as your everyday Habanero peppers. Fortunately for you, we use only a pinch of this exotic pepper, so you get the full flavor profile of this rare gem, without incinerating your taste buds (and fourtunate for us as well, as this pepper runs over $200/lb!). In addition to the Carolina Reaper, we've added a hefty dose of toasted garlic and brown sugar to round out this roller-coaster of a flavor experience.
Warning: This jerky is HOT. If you're not into spice, this jerky is not for you. If you do like spice, well my friend, this is going to a really special moment in your life. Hold on to your hat.
